Want to Bring Your Entire Team (or Partial Team) to TEAM EXTREME BASEBALL ORGANIZATION (TEBO)??
We would love to interview a few more teams about moving under Team Extreme's facility and/or Name. We have a variety of programs, some of which we provide the use of our indoor facility, outdoor field and cages and etc. ONLY, and others whereby we in addition to those items we provide recruiting, professional instruction (if desired) and a host of other aids. We allow you to focus on the coaching of kids and we provide a set schedule of use of our facilities without having to schedule each week around other facilities schedules and etc. We also help handle recruiting for your team, if desired. If you are interested, hit the CONTACT button on the side of the HOME page, and email us contact info and your desires, OR call 713-249-7870.
We will have PHASE II of our facility completed by Jan. 1, 2010. We have added two additional college size cages along with a new lighted practice infield adjacent to the indoor facility. Phase III will be completed once we sell some of our acreage. |

TEAM EXTREME STANGS 7U:
NATIONS BASEBALL'S 7 SELECT
2010 NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!!!

Team Extreme Stangs 7U: we are really proud of the parents for holding tight and being patient with this team. They struggled at the beginning of the season, and most Select baseball parents would have quit and thrown in the towel. We discussed with the parents that if they were patient and could give the team time to mature and for some changes to occur, that it would be worth it. To be honest, there was a point that I wondered if any parents, much less 10 sets of parents on one team, could show the patients that it would probably take, in that the kids had no confidence. They had really run into a string of bad luck, with untimely calls at the end of games, rainouts when matchups were favorable, and continual tough draws in every tournament leading to tough bracket seeding/draws. Nothing went there way.
Well that changed, and boy did it change. The boys got a taste of winning and they POURED IT ON, winning the last 16 games in a row, including 3 games against the Mizuno team that had beat them all 4 times they had met earlier in the season, two of which were good close games that caused the Stangs to be ousted from the tournaments early. Well in the State tourney they swept everyone. In the National tournament they SWEPT everyone again.... and in the Elite tournament last week, they flat out dominated and SWEPT them all again. Great defense and good offense, and GREAT CHEMISTRY!!
I think they only lost 1 or 2 games out of the last 21 games or so... WOW!! Great job!

WildStangs at the World Series! |

Congrats to the Team Extreme WildStangs!!! (previously known as Team Extreme Red 8UAAA and 7AA in 2007 & 2006 respectively)
The WildStangs finished as USSSA GLOBAL SPORTS 11u NATIONAL CHAMPS IN 2010!!! They have a lengthy history of finishing strong and have never, in 5 years finished worse than 4th (and not worse than 3rd but once).
TE WildStangs (to be 12U in Fall of 2010) had previously finished 3rd at the USSSA Global World Series in 10 major, in GulfShores, AL. The Wild Stangs finished 2nd (as 9u) in the 2008 Triple Crown World Series in Steamboat Springs, CO!! As the Team Extreme Red 8U's in 2007, they finished 4th in the USSSA World Series in 8U Coaches pitch in Sulfur, LA. As Team Extreme 7AA they finished 2nd in 2006 USSSA World Series as 7 year olds, in Sulphur, LA!!
ANOTHER GREAT YEAR, in 2010! If you want to be part of a strong team, that is well coached, with great parents, this might be the one.
July 2010, in beautiful Gulf Shores Alabama, TE WildStangs stayed in the winner's bracket all of the way. They finished 2nd seed out of 47 teams to go into the top bracket (Red 1). Anything else might have been a disappointment, so they gave it everything they had to get there.
The fought through adversity with Lane Reeves being out with broken foot, missing Nations State tourney and coming back just before World Series. Vince Ippolitti gone just before the Nations State tournament and WS(personal). Matthew Acosta out for short time before World Series with a foot fracture (minor). .... and then Bryce Holmes getting injured on first play of the World Series never to return, and not getting to play further in World Series. They played with 10 on the roster from there on.
They then beat the G-Force (The #1 seed our of pool play: 11 Major team out of Georgia) 5-1 in a fantastic defensive game. Well there were more great defensive games to come for this gritty squad. They came ready to finish strong in the next game, beating a very strong team (that had earlier beat another Woodlands team, the Kings, 18-2) the DeSoto Cardinals out of Mississipt, in the Semi-finals, 1 to 0 in 5 and 1/2 innings. Prior to the Championship game the WildStangs took the time to reflect on the previous year's 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishes and got themselves focused on the big prize. They came out to play hitting the ball hard and playing even better defense, and had fantastic pitching. They were winning 1-0 going into final innning. They hit a couple of batters and gave up a run to let the Louisiana Prospects tie the game in the top of the 6th. In the bottom of the 6th they got two runners on and moved them into scoring position. A key hit, with no outs, down the 1st base line (by the pitcher who had plunked two batters in the top of the 6th) was the game winning triple to win. Final score in CHAMPIONSHIP game was 2-1 Team Extreme WildStangs (11Major)! NATIONAL CHAMPS FINALLY!!!!! CARDIAC KIDS!!! Stellar pitching (5 innings) in Semifinals by Avery Ortiz, and in the Champ game (5 inn.) by Richard Gilbert, with Travis Bruffy coming in to get the last two outs when we got in trouble in top of 6th. Great pitching by A. Ortiz, R. Gilbert, as well as Travis Bruffy, all tournament long. Michael Lawson had a HR and Travis Bruffy had a Grand Slam!! Batting led by Jordan Powell (batting .539) and followed by Aryton Payne and Mattew Acosta (both .500). All other batters hit over .375 except one and he hit .308)!!! NATIONAL CHAMPS IN 2010!!!
Worth noting, they had recorded 4 errors in the 7 games at the 2010 USSSA World Series, and 3 of them being in the first game. Great focus, Great CHEMISTRY and DETERMINATION!!!!
In 2009 had also been a great year for the WildStangs. The Team Extreme WildStangs 11 major team finished 3rd in the USSSA Global Sports World Series in GulfShores Alabama, once getting to the top championship bracket of the 3 brackets after pool play (Red bracket). TE WildStangs were undefeated until the semifinal game when they lost a very hard faught game 3-2, in 6 innings) to a very strong Georgia team (Holly Springs). What a great, FUN, group!!! They lived up to their name in this World Series ... THE CARDIAC KIDS!! |
